About The Implant Guide

The Implant Guide is an independent UK information service for people considering dental implants. We research, write and maintain plain-English guides on costs, suitability, treatment options and recovery, and we run a free matching service that introduces patients to local implant clinics, starting in Sheffield.

Why we exist

Dental implants are one of the biggest healthcare purchases most people ever make, often £2,000 to £25,000, yet the information available is split between clinic marketing and anxious forum threads. We think patients deserve a calm, straight-talking, sales-pressure-free place to understand their options before they sit in anyone's chair.

How we make money

Our guides and matching service are free for patients. When we introduce a patient to a clinic, the clinic pays us a referral fee. This never changes the price you're quoted, and our editorial content is written independently of any clinic relationship. We don't rank clinics by who pays us, and we don't publish fake reviews or manufactured testimonials. Ever.

What we are not

We are not a dental clinic, and nothing on this site is personal medical or dental advice. Suitability, diagnosis and treatment planning can only happen in person with a GDC-registered clinician — which is exactly why our service ends at arranging a proper consultation, not replacing one.
