Who we are
The Implant Guide ("we", "us") operates theimplantguide.co.uk, an independent UK information and referral service for dental implant patients. For data protection purposes we are the data controller of the personal data you give us. Contact: hello@theimplantguide.co.uk.
What we collect
- Consultation request form: name, email address, mobile number, postcode, your dental situation and timeframe, and any notes you choose to add.
- Correspondence: if you email or text us, we keep that correspondence.
- Website usage: we may use privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics that do not identify you personally.
How we use it
- To contact you (initially by text message) about your consultation request.
- To match you with a suitable local implant clinic and share your details with that clinic only, so they can arrange your free consultation.
- To respond to your questions and maintain our records.
We do not sell your data, share it with unrelated third parties, or use it for unrelated marketing. Our lawful basis under UK GDPR is legitimate interest (arranging the service you requested) and, where required, your consent.
Who processes your data
We use reputable service providers to operate: website hosting (Netlify), and our customer-relationship and messaging platform (GoHighLevel). These providers process data on our behalf under contract. Some processing may take place outside the UK; where it does, appropriate safeguards (such as UK IDTA or adequacy regulations) apply.
How long we keep it
Consultation request data is kept while your enquiry is active and for up to 24 months afterwards, then deleted, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your personal data, and to data portability. Email hello@theimplantguide.co.uk to exercise any of these. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy before it does.
